IJR 1: 1. States and UTs for which Court News gives combined data for subordinate courts were excluded from this indicator, namely Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu.

IJR 2: 1. Due to bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana courts from January 2019, Q4 data of 2018-19 has been used for them. 2. West Bengal and Andaman & Nicobar Islands have been excluded as Court News gave combined data for subordinate courts.

IJR 3: 1. Parliamentary question shows 0 sanctioned and 13 actual subordinate court judges for Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
